Halo Fest Machinima Entries - Word Around The Ring 11/6/26
Welcome to The Array! A new little website to act as a small community run hub for Halo Community content! We hope to do a lot of features with different creators around all corners of the Halo Community, spotlight all sort of art, animations, videos, and maybe even do a little bit of other stuff in I don't know, a drop pod type fashion?
As we near Halo Fest in December, it felt like the perfect time to launch our small home and talk about all the exciting up leading up to the event next month! On November 2nd, we officially reached the deadline for submissions to the Halo Fest Short Film Contest!
I wanted there to be an easy place for anyone to scroll through and watch all the very cool entries without having to navigate through the internet to find them, so this is the first of a couple blogs collecting all the entries I could find per category!
As a team here at The Array that either are currently making machinimas or started in machinima, it only made sense for the first category for us to feature was the machinima category!
Coming in the next couple weeks after this we'll have a blog highlighting the Animation and Live Action categories as well!
For now, scroll through the list here and celebrate machinima with us! Starting with some entries by The Array's team!
(did we miss your entry? post it on twitter @melloh_yelloh_ and i'll keep this updated!)

I LOVE MACHINIMA!!! That (I believe) is our list! It's a bit hard to try and find everything as YouTube's search feature is kind of DOO DOO but I did my best! If there's anything I missed I'll make sure to keep updating this list and the other ones for the rest of the categories!
It's been really really cool to see so many people show up for this contest, so much creativity and passion in all these videos and it's really easy to see! We have machinimas all across the Halo games, 3, ODST, Reach, 4, 5, Infinite, and Campaign Evolved! If there ever is another contest I'm putting all my eggs into the Halo 2 basket!
If you missed the deadline, don't let that stop you! Post your video, make a machinima! There are a lot of resources out there to get started if any of these videos inspired you, join the party!
For now, that's all for this inaugural transmission from The Array! (And do NOT ask if I had to look up how to spell inaugural ok? I DIDN'T)
